Welcome to the Ecological Society of America's online education resource portal! ESA's EcoEd Digital Library (EcoEdDL) is a forum for scientists and educators to locate and contribute peer reviewed resources for 21st century undergraduate ecology education. Resources are available based on the Creative Commons Non-Commercial Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license. This picture was taken in 2005 along the Turure River before the mountain road had been widened. It contains one of the researchers for scale. The researcher is up to his knees in the pool, less than 2 feet deep. The pool is above his waist (more than 3 feet) closer to the rocks along the far bank. The stream flows from the left of the photograph to the right.
